Homecoming at OSU

Homecoming at OSU began many years as the Harvest Carnival and has grown to one of the largest celebrations in the US. The Homecoming at OSU has been recognized with numerous awards from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education and their Circle of Excellence program. Annually, over 40,000 people attend the Friday Walk around and the same the next day for the Homecoming Parade and Football Game. Colleges have their own celebrations and an awards ceremony is held during the game to recognize all the hard of students groups throughout campus.

Homecoming at Alpha Gamma Rho holds a special meaning as it is a time when Pi Chapter excels. Many times Pi Chapter has come out on top of the Homecoming Celebration and brought the Sweepstakes Trophy "home!"

Join us for this special celebration whether at the Homecoming Cookout, Homecoming Meeting, taking part in the Ed McVicker Scholarship Auction or just stopping by the Board of Directors meeting on Saturday, come see your Brothers and take part in an Alpha Gamma Rho tradition.

5:00 pm - Awards and Recognition of 50 Year Initiates

McVicker silent auction starts & will end at 8:00 p.m

6:00 pm - Dinner served at the House & time to visit with returning Brothers

Ed McVicker Scholarship Auction
The McVicker Auction is a silent auction held annually the Friday night before homecoming during the Homecoming Cookout. Participants bid on donated items throughout the cookout and the bids are finalized at the end of the Members Meeting. 100% of the money raised is deposited into the Pi Fund. To date the auction has raised over $2000 for the Pi Fund!!

Please help this worthwhile cause and place a winning bid during the auction. Through your support we are helping to secure the academic future of our Brothers.

Annual Members Meeting
As part of our articles of incorporation, we hold our annual members meeting during Homecoming. This is your opportunity to learn about the financials of the fraternity, vote on the 5 new members of the Board of Directors, vote for your representative on the Pi Fund Advisory Committee, learn about the 50 year pledge class and see your board in action. Don't miss this important annual event.

Immediatly following the Annual Members Meeting will be a Board of Directors meeting where you are encouraged to take part in the business of the fraternity and voice your opinions and offer your advice on the direction of the fraternity.
 
Initiate Class of 1962 Reunion
Fifty years ago, your initiation marked the beginning of a new chapter in your life as member of Alpha Gamma Rho. We would now like to welcome you back for Homecoming and the Class of 1962 Reunion.

We look forward to welcoming you back to enjoy the Universities activities and help you get reacquainted with your classmates!

As a special memento of your 50 year reunion, we will present all members who are present at the members meeting with a special AGR recognition as a memento of this monumental occasion.
